A Christmas Letter

Hi!

I have developed an allergy to stamps and licking envelopes but wanted a way to reach out to our family and friends far and near ... then I realized that the blog might be just the ticket!

Carsten and I have had a wonderful 2024! If you follow the blog you know that we have literally been around the world!

In addition we are blessed to have spent many hours making and delivering beds to kids in North Houston. We did our first Swing Event in San Antonio, joining with hundreds of volunteers to make almost 800 beds in four crazy hours!

Our final delivery of the year will be on Christmas Eve. Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Houston North) will deliver 2,000 beds in 2024. With a backlog of more than 800 we will be busy for a while!  If you are interested in helping by building and/or delivering beds, please check out https://shpbeds.org/chapter/tx-houston-n/ to sign up.  It is a lot of fun.

Austin and Jamie had plenty of visitors to keep them company their first year in Detroit. They managed to check out different parts of Michigan and get over to Germany to see Omi and Opa.

We miss them!

Of course we miss Rocco too!

Marieke and Alex are celebrating two years of marriage already! (Where does the time go?!). They seem to spend a lot of time going to and participating in weddings. It is their season of life!

When they travel we hang out with Cosmo...

Our plans for 2025 are shaping up, watch the blog to follow our adventures!

Praying for justice and peace in the world, Carsten and I send Holiday blessings to all of you.

Sheri & Carsten
